Dear Friends

I would like to thank everyone for the efforts to make the 2nd annual Jimmy Fund/Fantasy day fundraiser a success. We had over $4000.00 worth of donations for the local businesses. We made with all of your help, approximately  $6000.00 in cash contributions from individuals that purchased tickets and made donations to the Jimmy Fund. I want to be clear 100%…..100% of all donations made to the Jimmy fund, either through ticket sales or through our raffle went to the Jimmy Fund. None of the proceeds were used to run the event.

I would like to thank Patrick’s Pub, in Pittsfield MA for the excellent job they did hosting the event. The food was great and we went through 1000 wings! That a lot of wings!!!

I would also like to thank the Jimmy Fund of Berkshire County for all of their hard work over the past 25 years raising money for the Jimmy Fund and Dana Farber Cancer Institute. What a great Job they have done! I would also like to thank the Jimmy Fund of Boston, Caitlin Fay, Holly Foskett and Rebecca Gavin for their tireless work, first working with Nuclea and for all they do to obtain corporate and high net worth individuals!

Please remember that the Jimmy Fund of the Berkshires will host their golf tournament on June 11th, 2008 at the Berskhire Hill Country Club. See everyone there!!!

Last but certainly not least, thanks to Shelley Gardner, Rachel Rosier and Sandra Smith for pulling together this event in 13 days!

Thanks again for all of your generous support!!!

Hello again friends,

Happy Mother’s Day! It has been a very interesting weekend of baseball! The Red Sox vs the Twins have been an interesting match up. On Friday, the Red Sox lost a tough one, with the Sox closing ACE Jonathan Papelbon blowing a save (very rare). On Saturday, the Red Sox won a good one, a very exciting game! I am just starting to watch the third of four games against the Twins, let us hope they win tonight and tomorrow before starting a tough series with Baltimore.

On a more serious note, I would like to discuss the awesome baseball rivalry between two Pittsfield High Schools, Pittsfield High and Taconic High. First let me point out that I am an alum of Pittsfield High School (PHS) and that Taconic High has always been a very big rival of PHS. The Baseball game, billed as “THE GAME”  took place on Saturday at the very historic Wachonah Park. I am very happy to say that my alma mater won the game. Not just won the game, but crushed Taconic with a score of 10-4. Need I say anymore?

I would like to take this opportunity to sincerely thank all of the local business and restaurants that have donated gift certificate, products and services for the Nuclea/Jimmy Fund Fenway Fantasy Day Fund Raiser to take place on May 18th, at Patrick’s Pub beginning at 5pm. If you have not bought a ticket for the event as of yet, please contact Nuclea at 413-749-4705 ask for Shelley or Sandy. 100% of all proceeds go directly to the Jimmy Fund. Thanks again and Best Wishes,

Pat Muraca, CEO of Nuclea

Hello Friends,

Just here watching the Red Sox play the Detroit Tigers, the Sox are currently ahead with a score of 4-1  in the 5th inning. At this time, I would like to introduce you to our new ancillary web site for our fundraising activities, www.nuclearedsox.com. I would like to take this opportunity to thank Tom Weber for all of his hard work to pull this together. Tom is our very talented IT Director that has worked for me in a few capacities and a couple of companies over the past 6 years. Tom pulled this Web site together all on his own time. You can see Tom in many pictures from Fenway fantasy day 2007 fielding balls in the very famous center and right filed positions at Fenway Park! I would also like to  take this opportunity to thank Shelley Gardner, my Executive Assistant, whom I have known for many years and is invaluable to the company over the past 2 years, she is co chair of the fundraising events we have planned for 2008 (Shelley participated in 2007 as well, I dont think she caught a ball in the outfield but is the first person to do cartwheels in Left field of Fenway, well I take that back, maybe Manny has done a few!).  Also Sandra Smith who I have also known for many years (this does not indicate how old she must be), an invaluable member of the TMA team, will also be acting as co-chair of this event as well. These three individuals have done an excellent job pulling together our events…..a Special Thank you! Keep this page marked for specific updates and a bit of ranting by myself on the state of Red Sox Nation, the Jimmy Fund, the horrendous parking situation in Pittsfield and any other things that I feel obligated to discuss.

Keep Posted! Thanks to all of the Businesses in Berkshire County that have donated items and Gift Certificates for our fund raising events!

Be Well!
